Ninezero Debut CD - Sanity (2009.06.09)

Ninezero is pleased to announce that he has started recording his first debut CD.  The new CD, titled Sanity, will feature 10 songs.  The songs are:  Nine Seconds Till I Die, Tattoo Nation, Dance With The Devil, I Hate You Hate Me, I Made You Cry, Rock City, Bottle of Sin, 2am, Oh My God and Sanity. 

The CD follows on from the merits of the mini-CD, The Beginning.  Expect to hear some awesome tunes pushing the limit of heavy rock. 

The CD will be available at all concerts and will be released through Outbreak Records in Japan.  You will be able to purchase the CD at HMV, Tower Records and Disc Union in Fall 2009. 

Ninezero will commence two national tours to promote the CD.  The first tour will rock the north from July 2009 heading all the way to Sapporo.  The second tour will rock the west in September 2009 heading all the way down to Fukuoka. 

The CD will be sold for 2000yen (inc tax).

NINEZERO is back and the wait has come to an end! The brand new mini album is entitled “The Beginning” and it marks also a new start for the band. If this is just the start for new and upcoming deeds then everybody out there should already start to beg for mercy! What a hammer! Ninezero gathered a complete new crew around himself – so none of the old members are on board anymore. In my opinion the charismatic singer made a great choice with it as the new members are stronger, tighter and much more dynamic in every aspect the music is concerned. Even the songs itself have much more power and energy than before. The pace is a little bit higher and all is heavier. The brilliant opener “Nine Seconds Till I Die” gallops with furious speed out of your pair of boxes. Shouter Ninezero delivers a more than excellent performance while the guitarists burning down their own fireworks on their instruments. Without losing any drive the band continues to forge hot steel with “Dance With The Devil”. Powerful, pure and honest steel at it’s best. “I Hate You Hate Me” and “Rock City” are two excellent mid paced tracks which are both executed quite crispy. A new version of the band’s classic “Social Window” shaves your head at the end of the disc. A total smasher where the drummer acts in top form with his well directed doublebass attacks. Finest Power/Speed which will totally stress your neck muscles. The sound of the album is brilliant and flawless and unleashes a lot of power. These five tracks are just an appetizer for things to come. A new longplayer is planned to be released next year and all tracks included in this five tracker will be re-recorded for it. If the new tunes will have the same quality level or even a higher one then the album will become a total blast. Untill the new effort is out you can spend your time with this extremely strong mini album. Great stuff!!

Ninezero touring with HEMLOCK (USA) (2008.09.28)

Ninezero is pleased to announce that he will be touring with the world famous metal band, Hemlock, on their Japan tour.  Hemlock were formed more than 13 years ago and have toured the world, playing with bands such as Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Soulfy, Otep, Slipknot, Snot, Coal Chamber, Orbituary, Drowning Pool, Hed PE, Chimaira, Meshuggah and Ministry.

Review of mini-album "Raiden/Raimei (2006) (2008.09.07)

NINEZERO is an international Metal band based in Japan which

was previously known under their old moniker RAIDEN. Mastermind 

of this squad is Ninezero. The Australian born singer is an absolute 

workaholic.  It really leaves you stunned in which projects and events 

he has been already involved up to now. It is really worth to have a 

look at his biography. Apart from that fact he can convince with his 

charismatic and powerful voice which is always able to control the 

crowd and cast a spell on it. He can handle  every pitch of the voice 

and gives the band a kind of originality. A real Rocker! NINEZERO 

combine Japanese, British (Axeman Nigel is of English origin but he 

is no longer in the band) and Aussie mentalities and influences to 

an unbeatable blend which you can’t resist of. The songs are full of 

energy, they are catchy and rock straight forward. The guitarists 

provide a lot of crispy riffs, hooks and great, effective Leads which 

makes you headbang all the time. The sound of the disc is heavy, 

powerful and has a rough edge. It’s quite clear the band really did 

a damn great job with the production as they did everything by 

themselves. The opener is a real hymn at it’s best. “Raiden” could 

be without any doubts on some great US Metal own pressings. This 

track is destined to be played Live, especially because of it’s killer 

chorus “God Of Metal”! Solid power stuff like “Soul Identity” and 

“Trickery” (always changing between uptempo and powerful mid 

paced parts) or the faster “Social Window” are further highlights 

of an excellent mini album which should appeal to every Hard ’n’ 

Heavy Fan. This screams for more! This stuff rocks!!

Ninezero debut mini-album "The Beginning..." (2008.08.02)

Ninezero is pleased to announce the release of his first mini-album since changing the name of the band from Raiden to Ninezero.  The album is called "The Beginning..." because this is the beginning of the FULL CD to be released in 2009.  You can find four new songs on the CD, from very heavy metal to rock n roll.  Ninezero has also included a bonus track, Social Window, from his first debut CD, Raiden/Raimei.  However, the new version of Social Window is VERY FAST & METAL!!! 

Ninezero will release very limited numbers of this CD, so he can focus on his FULL CD RELEASE in 2009.  Ninezero will re-record these songs for the FULL CD in 2009, so this is a VERY VERY LIMITED EDITION CD.  A collector's item.  You can only get your copy at a concert or from PAYPAL.  Get your copy before they are sold out.

Ninezero announces Japan Tour Dates (2008.05.17)

Ninezero is pleased to announce his tour of Japan starting on the 17th May 2008 until summer 2008.  The Japan Rock City Tour kicks off in Eastern Japan from May 17th until May 26th.  Playing an intensive schedule of 7 shows over 10 days the band is expected to wow the crowds with their intensive shows.  Ninezero kicks off the Western tour from August 2nd until August 9th.  Check the tour page for more information.  We hope to see you at some of the shows.  Thanks for your support.

Ninezero Headlines Astro Hall (2008.02.09)

Ninezero headlined the world famous Astro Hall, Tokyo, Japan.  The crowd were crazy and wild.  "It was the craziest audience I have ever seen.  I thought they were gonna all jump on stage and rape me," said Ninezero.  The opening bands were Fade, Lewon, Viagrade and Pinfla.

Ninezero Valentine's Day Tour (2008.01.19)

Ninezero is pleased to announce that he will play two very cool concerts over the Valentine's weekend.  The first show is at the world famous Astro Hall in Harajuku, Tokyo (9th February 2008).  The production of the event is run by Dir En Grey's staff.  Expect to see an energetic show from start to end.  Bring your chocolates!

The second show will be at Ninezero's home base, Outbreak, Yotsuya, Tokyo (11th February 2008).  Ninezero is back singing to his local fan base.  Ninezero will also show off his new tattoo at this show.  So any screams from the man will be from real pain!

Konami Live at TOKYO ZEPP (2007.10.04)

Ninezero is pleased to announce that he sing at the Konami Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania Live Concert at Tokyo Zepp on December 2nd, Tokyo, Japan.  He will play his original song, INSIDE OUT.

Konami will be recording this live concert and releasing a DVD with Ninezero.
